Terms of Service
Last updated 16 August 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of TapTap, a Slack application operated by TapTap. By installing or using TapTap you agree to them. If you are installing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.
2. The service
TapTap monitors Slack channels you nominate, detects when a person has been tagged and has not replied within a configured window, and sends that person a private direct message. Features may change over time; we will not remove something material without notice to workspace administrators.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for having the authority to install TapTap in your workspace and to add the channels you add.
- You are responsible for telling your team that TapTap is installed, where local law or your internal policy requires it.
- You may not use TapTap to harass anyone, or in a way that breaks Slack's own terms or any applicable law.
4. Plans and payment
TapTap offers a free plan covering one channel, and paid plans covering more. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown on our pricing section and may change with 30 days' notice to existing customers.
You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; your workspace then returns to the free plan rather than being deleted. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial months except where required by law.
5. Availability
We aim to keep TapTap running continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Nudges are queued and delivered on a best-effort basis. TapTap is a convenience, not a system of record: you should not rely on it as the sole mechanism for anything time-critical or safety-critical.
6. Your data
Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. You retain all rights to your content. We claim no ownership over anything in your Slack workspace.
7. Suspension
We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached, if payment fails repeatedly, or if usage threatens the stability of the service for others. Where practical we will contact you first.
8. Liability
TapTap is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, TapTap excludes implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed deadlines, lost business or lost data arising from a nudge that was or was not delivered. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to workspace administrators before taking effect, and continued use afterwards constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
