Refund Policy

Last updated 19 September 2026

The short version. Any payment can be refunded in full within 14 days — no questions asked, no conditions, renewals included. Your first payment for a plan is refundable for 30 days. After that you can cancel any time and keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for. If we ever charge you by mistake, we'll always refund it.

14-day refund window on every payment

Every payment you make to us can be refunded in full within 14 days of that payment. This applies without exception or condition: it covers renewals as well as first payments, the difference charged when you upgrade from Pro to Growth, and it applies however many times you have subscribed. You do not need to give a reason, and we do not ask for one.

30-day money-back guarantee on your first payment

Your first payment for a paid plan is refundable in full for 30 days rather than 14, so you have a month to decide whether TapTap earns its place. This is in addition to the 14-day window above, never instead of it.

After the refund window

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Once a payment is more than 14 days old (30 days for a first payment), we do not refund the unused part of that billing period, except where the law requires it. You can cancel at any time from the TapTap Home tab in Slack or the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for; you keep your plan until then and are not charged again.

If you move from Growth to Pro, you keep Growth until the end of the current period and are billed at the Pro rate from the next one, so there is nothing to refund.

Billing mistakes

Whatever the timing, we will refund any charge made in error — for example, being charged twice, or charged after a cancellation took effect.

How to request a refund

Email support@trytaptap.com from the address used at checkout, and include your Slack workspace name or the invoice number from your receipt. We aim to reply within one business day.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for all our orders. Refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method, and include any sales tax or VAT you were charged. They usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. You can also contact Paddle directly about any purchase through paddle.net.

What happens after a refund

When a refund is issued, the subscription it relates to is cancelled and your workspace returns to the free plan. Nothing is deleted: TapTap keeps watching one channel, and the settings for any others are kept in case you upgrade again later.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you, including any statutory right to withdraw from a purchase.
